    Door Trim painted???

I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but in my rolla, the frame of the door is painted. I compared it with other rollas and noticed it's not painted. I drive a CE and it seems that mine stands out from others. guess the factory accidently painted mine. haha...

yup the trim around the windows on the CE"s are painted the body color. the LE's and S are black.. The old rollas the LE was painted.. Heh kinda wierd how toyota did that.. CE"s have painted window tirms but hte side molding is black.. go figure.. I personally dont like the painted window trim thingy.. makes it look less clean.. if its all black it just looks cleaner for some reason.. LESS LINES.. . if u look at hte CE around the door it looks like there is a bunch of black lines.. epsically if u tint ur windows.. looks so much better if its just black..
    well just my opinion :)

The black tape or whatever that is on the S and LE models is to make it look more uniform and protect the door pilar. Atleast that's my understanding of it.

I think its because the whole black trim is supposed to be more sporty. On my dads X5 the trim is supposed to come a chrome color, but with the sport package it comes black.

I have an Black sand pearl pearl paint and all of my doors are painted to match the rest of my car. I belive only select cars had them painted. When I went to the Local toyota here, some of the corollas (whether CE, S or LE) had the doors colored keyed
to match the car and others had it in flat black.
