WILL INSTALLING NEW AUDIO STUFF VOID WARRANTY

my grandma has just recently purchased a new corolla S in indigo ink pearl, and may i say it is VERY sweet compared to past corollas, this is the 4th one in my family and to me (and probably the rest of the world) the other generations well were bland and sucked, but i was totally impressed with the quality of the vehicle.

Now my question, will installing a new head unit,rear-front speakers, tweeters, subs, amps, VOID my warranty whatsoever this is very important because the stock radio SUCKS.

    Thank You

well it depends on how extensive your audio setup is?? i mean if it will be more than what the stock battery and alternator can handel, then you are lookin at possible issues, but if it just a headunit, new speakers and some subs, then it is totally the dealers perogative to say its voided or not.

it's only the sound system warranty who is going to be void if you change the sound system..............not the whole car................but if you put like 2000w rms of bass and you brake something because of your sound system, then they won't fix it for free.

    VOIDED

Most dealerships will say that you void it changing anything my friend changed a fuse and they said that could void it I know the second you change your deck you electronic is void I found that out in my last car but it also depends on how nice your dealership is.

Well companies like crutchfield provide all the wiring harnesses and gear there marketing towards those whom lease vehicles and warranties etc. Cover your butt. have your stereo installed by a paid professional w/ no modification to the factory harness or unit and if something goes wrong.... If a stereo install is performed properlly then by no means should it cause anything else to fail. But dealers can be total a$$es.

    1. Blame the installer. :x
    2. Put the factory unit back in and take it back to the dealer and tell them you have no idea what happened. :?
