As long as you could get that stuff to stick to the silver peices then it would look good. But how easy is it to uinstick that stuff and still have it in tact?

Did you paint yours silver already? I think the black gloss looks good for the window controls, but keep all the others accent silver. Its not like they don't match or anything....

the silver on my car is not a dash kit. i took my interior apart, and painted all those silver pieces. all i would do to make it black is remove the pieces again, sand them, clean them and put gloss black paint on them.

I'll have no problems doing this, i'm just asking what you guys think about the color idea.

i know it looks fine, it's just that a lot of people have aluminum dash kits so the whole silver thing is kinda overplayed to me. I mean silver looks great but i wanna be different.

go for it...i think that would look sick... its true that the silver interior is on the rise so the gloss look would be a first and definitely cool 8) and if u do as a good a job as you did with your silver paint i know its gonna turn out pimpin'... good luck with your decision

Hey.. RollaS I was wondering if it was difficult to pop out the pieces to paint them? All i have to do is pop um out use some interior paint let um dry and put um back in?? Is that all I need to do? How did you take out your pieces??

yeah you pretty much got it, just clean the pieces before painting . most stuff you can just pull out. look at the audio DIY's that XTM put up, it shows how to take the center console and doors apart.

Yea, you gave me direction on how to color it a while ago. I change the color to gloss black. I looks bad ass. I think you should try it. See how it looks, if you want a picture before you do it. let me know, maybe i can find a digital camera or something.

haha thanks, but i did mine like 2 weekends ago. I used plasitcote gloss black vinyl interior spray and then followed with two coats of clearcoat. I'll post pics tomorrow after i clean out my interior and get all the dust off it. thats the downside to gloss black little specs of dust look huge.
