So.....i watched about an hour n a half of the finale thing and the news afterwards....i say they picked a good person not only because I live in Oklahoma and Carrie is from Checotah, Ok which is like less than an hour away....but she did phenomenal throughout the portion of the competition i started to watch as they closed out the final 10.....

anyways, the news coverage after the event was something else....the watch party for Carrie was at the Muskogee Civic Center which is like 10 minutes from Checotah, and the news station, Fox 23 Tulsa, that was covering it was acting pretty stupid cuz they kept having to stall the crowd and the people watching the news waiting for one of their news anchors to talk to Carrie as she walked out...they stalled all the way up until 9:45 and the news started at 9pm....plus they put the hot anchor girl in Muskogee and the less attractive girl in Hollywood....another thing was that at Muskogee, they were interviewing random people and showing the camera's all the signs people made....kinda funny how i saw "Marry Me Carrie" and other one thats purely Oklahoma that said "Carrie, Got-R-Done"....they interviewed her grandpa Carl and he was so hick compared to everyone else, even her family....also, they interviewed her highschool principle who showed off Carrie's highschool locker....they actually took Carrie's locker from when she was in high school and they brought it to Muskogee at the watch party.....when asked what they were gonna do with it, they said they're selling it on ebay, lol....right now, they're giving away a signed Carrie Underwood poster to a viewer...

i wouldve never watched it if i didnt know there was someone from oklahoma in it, and especially if that someone made it into the top 10....which is around where i started watching....
