    help w/ 02 S set-up

OK. Seem to have gotten my rims/tires all squared away. This was our initail call for help. Now on to the suspension. From researching this Forum there seems to be a handfull of different manufacturers to go with. TRD/KYB seems to be a good set-up for this car that others have gone with. I want to lower it 1-1 1/2". The car seems to have a squat to it. Will a lowering kit level it out? Is an adjustable and/or coilover kit preferable? How bout GroundForce? I would really appreciate help on everything that will be needed for this set-up. Thanks!

Two path's I'd recommend you take.

Eibach/Tokico (or kyb doesnt matter) -- 1.3" drop all around, however the rear will *appear* lower than the front when looking at the wheel wells, the car is actually quite level.

    Tein/Tokico combination

HTECH - recommended if you don't want to be too low but still have a balanced look. the car will be lower in the front than the rear. ride height is dropped 1.3" in the front and .08" in the rear.

STECH - if you want lower than the HTECH, this is the way to go. The same rule applies as above with the HTECH, the bottom of the car will NOT be level, however it will have an aggressive rake with a 1.9" drop in the front and 1.4" drop in the rear.

TEIN(stech)/KYB Combo is nice, but it still looks lower in the back than the front.

Can't find anything for my application on the Eibach web-site.

Ya, the h-tech would be preferred over the s-tech.

dont look for it from eibach... try ultrarev.com --- you also may have to search for 01 as some of these sites are stupid and think the chassis change occured in 01 when it occured in 03. lol

    also tirerack.com carries em too.

Ok. Found em. Initial feelings are that 1.3" in the rear in a bit much for us right now. Although I wouldn't want to sacrifice any quality concerns or other advantages Eibach has. I like the look of mingww's ride and could live w/ that. His seems to be a 1 1/4" drop. I was hoping he would chime in on this since we both seem to have the same ride. Thank you for the help!!!

Are the Tokico HP struts that good? They cost $325/set. The KYB's cost $225. What about Bilsteins? I have a set of 7100 rebuildable remote reservoirs custom valved for my truck that I just LOVE. Thier $289/set. I don't mind paying extra for a good set if there is a difference in em. Thanks!

And does anybody have any input on whether to go w/ Eibach's Sportline (1.8") or Pro-kit (1.3")?
