Still debating whether I'll swap 4age 20v black or silver or if enough money is favorable, 2zz into my 94 (To be the first), the answer to the boring k20/k24 on every honda....Or just rebuild my 4A-FE engine ,tranny w/lsd and boost it. Too much decisions!

I'm planning on a blacktop 20v myself. (I like MAP more than AFM) I'm scrapping the plans for the turbo because NA is best. I figure a blacktop front clip would cost ~18 (less if I only buy engine, wiring harness, ecu), Pay tweek's 300 to mod the harness and do the swap myself on a weekend.. Only problem is paying off the smog guys every 2yrs.. or move out of cali.

And future plans after that would be a NA tuneup with a Toda valvetrain, cams and adjustable camgears.

    Turbocharged Non-intercooled 1zzfe 2001 S fourth engine 60K miles,

VB depending on internals being forged or lightweight will give you more torque or topend power. It all depends. Also look to spend a large amount of money on a decent setup.

Turbo 01 Corolla, rebuilt internals (1.9L now). A Greddy T2826RS and an intercooler. We are going with Supplementary Injectors (2x650cc), custom emanage designed to control timing, injectors, VVT-I, and idling. Dealing with cold start issues and some stalling. Check out rippmods.com. Hopefully, we will resolve these issues. Their tuner is an electrical engineer and has tuned about 500 car so far. My corolla is his first and he loves the challenge.

There's no 'factory turbo' option either..I don't have a Corolla anymore, so I don't want to skew the results. :p

I made the design for the mating flange and had it made on a local muffler shop for it and adapted ST ITB's.

    Do you want a high-revving n/a 180hp motor, or a wallet-dependent 200-700hp turbo? :p

The 3SGTE is a great engine and can make plenty of power...it's all what you want and how much you want to spend.

Personally, I'd suggest keeping the 1zzfe and buying an MR2 with a 3SGTE already in it. ;) Prices have dropped so far in the last couple of years that you could probably find a decent MR2 Turbo for what you'd pay to 3sgte swap your Corolla.

You don't even know the half of it. An mr-2 mid engine rwd will cost HALF of what it will take to do a full 3sgte swap into a corolla. If you have the money to spend, buy an rx-8 or down payment for a supra. Do not waste your money, period.
