    Stock air box sucks!

I sort of broke my intake when i was switching back to my stock airbox to give the car to toyota to fix sometin still under warranty. Right now for a little while i odn't have my intake on rolla and it sucks so bad. Its sooo laggy. Anything above 4rpm is just extra buzzing and its not doing anything just reving higher. Wit my intake it would pull past 4k and actually do sometin instead of making alot of noise. I can't wait to get enough money to get the EL prototype CAI. My ram air kicked ass apparently. I snapped off one of the bolts that u screw the screws into to hold the air sensor in. it was loose so i took a socket wrench and i tried to tighten it but i guess i tightened it too much and it broke off

PS i was coming back from star wars and i had 1 passanger and my friends rental PT cruiser had 3 people in it total and i lost to it. we were even till about 40 and he started pulling away from me. I would have been either tied wit it or i would have beaten it.

    I had a Weapon-R secret intake....

    and one more thing
I thought my car was slower then usual cause i didn't reset my ECU when i was changing my air box to stock but later on i did reset it. I left the battery unplugged for 45 minutes. And it did nothing. THere is proof my intake does sometin. I gave me power all through the powerband i can feel it

Its because your suckin in hot air man. SRI sometimes will cause power loss if you get too much hot air being sucked in.

ya but even wit my intake i had alot more power. My stock air box draws power from the front of my car which is alot cooler then my engine bay air that my air intake sucked in b4

I dk when I had my Injen SRI in it only improved the gas mileage by a bit but power wise I didn't see any improvement.

You talkin about gio's accord? cuz when ya'll raced back in the day he didnt have an exhaust plus his rims were 50 lbs each & like i said back in the day . meaning how is that all the time? And you didn't take him so i hope thats not what you're referring to.
