    I think this would be a good retelling of the story from another perspective. I am actually interested in seeing the movie. Much like Transformers wasn't exactly the same as the original 80's cartoon (which i'm a fairly hardcore fan of) I still thought the retelling of the story was executed very well.

    This movie all you have to do is just imagine it as a completely different story with similar names from the original cartoon. I also grew up watching dragonball (probably before everyone here even heard about it since i began watching it in Japan) and it is one of my all time favorite cartoons so I'm actually glad the director didn't copy the movie exactly like the cartoon because that would be too hard to do anyway. I'm very interested to see how this movie will come out.

    BTW if you don't know already, the original Goku- SonGoku aka Monkey King was originally an old chinese folk tale and DragonBall used that story and some of the characters from there to create an interesting comedy twist, which later turned violent. Still loved the cartoon series but I always seem to fall back to Dr. Slump.. haha

    American porn industry doesn't know how to make movies either. I get all mine as imports from other countries.. much better movies...

    Im a huge fan of dragon ball grew up watching it and when i seen the movie trailer it killed every aspect especially goku and i just hope vegetta(my fav character)doesnt look retard as goku.
