Goodbye, freedom. Goodbye, liberty. Goodbye, America.

    ***DISCLAIMER***
I am in NO way a racist by ANY means. My dislike of the president-elect stems from his Marxist policies he can now enact thanks to the super-majority in congress now. I'm with turbo4age on this one. As long as he's in office, the country is going to take a nosedive. I love how my paychecks will soon be going to other people instead of my wife and my child.

nah..she was a McCain supporter and called me that. Did my wording mess it up? I posted the bulletin titled "Obama did it!" and inside the bulletin I put DAMNN and then she responded with that.

Time will tell, but I really think people are overreacting and running with whatever they can here. Country cant take anymore of a nosedive than it already has, and even so, McCain wouldnt have been much better. If you truly believe that, YOURE naive.

I misinterpreted your DAAAAMMMN comment as meaning you were disappointed, and thus a McCain supporter

After reading it I can see how that was misinterpreted. But I'm far from a McCain supporter.

However, I'll be the first to vote Palin to be in the next Playboy magazine! lol. She's hot, IMO.

Obama is not the president yet. FYI.

    :p

For those of you who are into guns, buy what you want now before another AWB is instituted. Check the front page of AR15.com for the Democratic party's current stance on firearms.

    List those Marxist policies please

Lol. As you and the majority of other financial "experts" predicted (which was regardless of who won and lost) Theres no denying that the US is already in a recession....it was stated last week that the market would fall this week regardless of who because investors were looking to make money off the gains of last week. In addition, your concern would hole more credibility if the market hadnt already been taking a roller coaster ride over the last couple of months.

The market is also preparing for bad employement numbers that are released on Friday.
Some more specific reasons the market dropped today:

    http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Investing/Dispatch/market-dispatches-110508.aspx

Do you honestly think that if McCain was elected, that the market wouldnt have done the same thing?

History of past post-presidential elections show markets rising over the quarter after results...time will tell.

Class envy, encouraging class warfare, redistribution, ever-increasing government size and control (and encroaching steadily into the private sector). Need I go on?

No, I know what marxism is. Show me Obamas planned policies that show that he is a Marxist, and avoid referencing Joe the Plumber when you reply.

Looks like John Kerry is on the short list to be Secretary of State

The point is that I believe it's laughable to take someone as unqualified as a plumber (who doesnt have a plumbing license and who doesnt pay his taxes) for his analysis of what is or isn't marxism. Further, accusing someone of being a socialist based on one sentence is also a little simple-minded.

The fact that this whole idea came to attention due to what a plumber said is absurd ("Sounds like socialism to me"). It's called a progressive tax system - it's been around since the second decade of the century (20th). I guess all the political/govt experts have missed it all this time, and it took a plumber to enlighten all of us.

It's not elitism - it's called being rational. One has to consider the source of their information. Would you take advise medical advise from a lawyer?

i think the problem is that people just pick up on buzz words from the news or chain emails where the origin is unknown and than say obama what they read or here. while i voted 3rd party i am going to give obama a chance. to be logical, everything he said he wants to do will not happen as it has to be passed and go through the proper channels. while the democrats do have the majority they still need republicans to vote with them to get things passed.

Exactly...95% of people dont know what Marxism/socialism is, but 95% of people know that its "bad" and "unfavorable".

Obama is a Capitalist, not a Marxist.

I couldn't have said it better myself. And its not like capitalism isn't without its flaws. I just think that the fact that Obama wants to keep capitalism more in check than it has been causes conservatives to try to make him a scapegoat by calling him a socialist.

Who cares who is president .... Its gonna be the same as always with who ever is a president ... New laws will be made , Taxes always go up for programs . were still gonna live our lives , drive our cars , pay the gas prices . So why bother crying who is president . Wish the man luck and hope he guides this country in the right direction like we did with all the other presidents that ruined the economy and the others that helped the economy ...:)

thats why we care. because if you think we are at rock bottom now then youre fooling yourself. things can get so much worse, nationally and globally. the president can shape the direction of things, maybe not flip them on their head, but really screw things up with poor policy and leadership.

i hope everyday that things get better. my stance and beliefs are that things may stabilize with obama in office, but that he isnt the messiah that most make him out to be. i also believe his naive energy and defense policies will hurt us in the long run.

and no, i didnt vote for bush... nor do i think he was the best man for the job. im non partisan.

if he is as terrible as many believe him to be, well, im getting prepared. if he turns out to be the rockstar messiah that his followers claim he is and he saves the world and makes everyone rich... BONUS for me.

First Of all who said I was rock bottom .... I aint rock bottom I have two new homes , 2 cars , 4 kids and a stable job and money in my bank with a exelent health plan .... Now cause someone on here's life is shitty thats not the presidents problem thats yours ..... you should have gotten a education , pay attention is school . pick a career where it benifits you ..stop pissing money on MOD's on your car ... If a black man can become a president of the United States then anyone with a dream can achieve anything ... At one time I had two jobs now I dont need two jobs ... Stop crying and support your president and better your own life instead of waiting for someone to hand it over to you on a silver plate ... Thats why people who are imagrants work harder for less money and they arent complaining . God Bless America !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This undated photo obtained from a MySpace webpage shows Daniel Cowart, 20 of Bells, Tenn. holding a weapon. Federal agents have broken up a plot to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill. and shoot or decapitate 102 black people in a Tennessee murder spree, the ATF said Monday Oct. 27, 2008. In court records unsealed Monday, federal agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target a predominantly African-American high school by two neo-Nazi skinheads. The men, Daniel Cowart, 20, of Bells, Tenn., and Paul Schlesselman 18, of West Helena, Ark., are being held without bond. (AP Photo)

Assassination plot targeting Obama disrupted :
SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando, AP) -- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says it's broken up a plot by skinheads to launch an attack on a black high school and to assassinate Barack Obama.

According to court records, two neo-Nazi skinheads planned to rob a gun store and target an unnamed high school in Tennessee. There, it's alleged, the two planned to shoot 88 black people and decapitate another 14. The numbers 88 and 14 are said to have significance among white supremacists.

South Park is tearing up the whole presidential campain tonight........:lol :lol
