So Obama won it! 324 to 145 as of now. History definitely made!

I must say...I feel proud.

Yay! I won't have to move to another country now.

Honestly, this election brought out alot of people to vote.

and prepare yourselves for rising fuel costs in the near future. no drilling and no alternative energy plan, bolstered by the hairbrain idea of taxing oil companies more is going to make fuel/energy costs skyrocket. he said it himself that he isnt shocked by the over inflated prices... only shocked by how fast they got there.

95% of the lower class/minimum wage kids and black people of voting age that i have talked to and witnessed have ignorantly chanted "change" like the matt damon character from team america said his own name. and NONE of them could tell me the first thing about obamas plans to change... this country is in a sad state.

i was under the impression you don't have to refi, but a person can be signed off the note/deed of the house. i can only see needing to refi if money needs to be paid out to the other person.

Uhh....better change that to prepare yourself for rising fuel costs even if we don't "drill baby drill" because even if we drill here we get maybe a year or two of energy. And then you have oil rigs off the east coast that can get ruined by hurricanes and large sections on land ruined because the oil isn't found as a giant liquid chamber, but as thin films on shale. We are either very near, or have surpassed global peak oil production, and its irrefutable.

And clean coal is a myth! What is clean coal? Its coal with cleaner emissions in things like sulfur and heavy metals, but not necessarily CO2. And even though the emissions are cleaner, the sulfur, heavy metals, etc. may not be in the atmosphere, but instead are now in the water table or in the ground. It doesn't just magically disappear. And what does it take to make coal "clean"? Energy!!!! So to make clean coal you're putting more CO2 into the atmosphere.

Alternative energy (nuclear, wind, solar, etc.) needs to be explored, simple as that.

And congrats to Obama. A truly historic event.

If the person is on the loan, then a refi would be necessary to remove that person. Removing them from the note/deed doesn't have anything to do with the loan itself.

Thats my understanding unless things have changed since the last time I dealt with mortgages.

did anyone see the comment from ralph nader during the coverage? i have a feeling that its some peoples true feelings about obama while hiding behind the lack of experience. if no one saw it, ralph nader used the term "Uncle Tom" when referring to obama.

yap and the doll dressed up as a Obama look a like hanging from a tree at a collage. in Minnesota they were sending hate mail to other white voters saying that if they vote for that N@%^ lover their lives would be in danger

In Philly there was an issue where these two guys dressed up in "black panther" uniforms were standing at an entrance to a polling place trying to intimidate white voters. One had a night stick and kept hitting it against his hand.

I only put quotes on black panther cause thats what they assumed thats where they were from. No real source has said that they were actual black panthers, unless I missed a news report somewhere.

I posted a bulletin on MySpace that said "OBAMA DID IT!" and inside I put "DAMMNNNNN!" and some chic from MD responded saying "Youre a piece of shit socialist bitch"

To which I responded, "Thank you for the very mature response. It says alot about your character."
