The wider you go, the more sidewall flex you will have. 205 is plenty wide already. Go with 205/45/16's. That's the size the Corolla TRD wheels come with.

You'll rub when you go full lock with 205's, I speak from experience. 215's and you'll rub like no other.

You could use a bat. Like a baseball bat and roll it along your rear quarterpanel up against your wheel. make sure you heat up the paint so it doesnt crack. A blowdryer works i believe. Or you can simply get some buddies together and rent a fender roler off ebay its not that expensive.

see, i was kinda thinking the same thing, a heat gun to keep the paint from stripping and some kind of steel/metal tube like figure to roll the fenders...hm...I think i'll do that, thanks bud.

that shouldn't happen. My TRD never rubbed with 205-45. I would check your splashguards if they are loose

They are actually lol, driver side one flew off while I was doing 85 on the highway and my tire tore it to shreds. I won't rub at full lock if I'm just creeping but if I'm moving somewhat, I will rub slightly. I should also mention that my entire front end is jacked up too from a collision so whatever I guess

\why dont you find some second hand used 215's to test with it would be a cheap exercise ,trhat way if the scrub like shit you wont of blown good money on tires that wont fit right , im going to get some 205's for mine to see if i have scrub issues .
but if you want a wider tire your better off getting the right size wheel and offset to fit,as i hear with wider tires on thinner rims the tire mocves round and flexes to much especially if your tire pressures arn't right
