    TWM Shortshifter question

hey guys i dont usually ask for much lol but im stumped, so i figured id ask. if its already been posted them im sorry.

I recently bought a twm shortshifter, with the shift knob. my gosh its pricey, but anyways... me and my cousin installed it..beginners, u could say. It took us about a hour total, the main problem, as stated in every twm thread..that darned clip was realy hard to get off..but we kind of chiseled it away with a hammer and a flathead, worked out pretty good.

the part im concerned with, though is when after i put everything back together..the shifter seems to be leaning to the right just a tad in neutral.. its bothering me. is this normal? i checked under the boot and it seems that the shifter rod isnt touching the shifter assembly plastic when u lean it over to the left in neutral, but when u lean it over to the right over to 5th/R it hits the plastic.

is it because of a bad install? or should i re-open it and check it out. hopefully some people that have the shortshifter could help me out. if u dont understand what im talking about i'll post pics hopefuly by tomorrow or saturday of what the problem is.

thanks, and sorry for it being so long.

on a side note, the shifter does feel really good ;]

when i first installed mine, it would stick on the gears. it would go first, second then when i throw it in neutral, itll stick left. you just gotta break it in. shift it a lot and in about 2 weeks or something, itll be fine.
