Metal Gear Solid : Guns of the Patriots

OMFG..... Best game ever made..... Period....

I just finished Metal Gear Solid 4 : Guns of the Patriots (19:53 total play time) and I must say it was worth every single penny. I felt like I was watching a blockbuster film every time I played it and the story drags you in hook, line and sinker. The animation and graphics are 2nd to none and the sound and level of interaction with the rumble pack are amazing. The only questionable thing I found about the game was the shameless plugging of the PS3 system though the game :) But that aside, fan-f'n-tastic!.

I uploaded some pics of my stats once I finished the game, feel free to post yours in this thread if you have finished the game also.

ROFL... I'm a projector nut. TV's just never gave me the picture size I wanted :) It's a Panasonic AX-100U, pretty good rig. Thinking about going up to a 1080p projector though since the bulb in this one is getting old. The pictures are dim because I used the flash and that doesn't work good with projection surfaces as you might have guessed.

I do have a Tablet PC :) I'm not a big fan of using it as a tablet though, the software interface just isn't that good yet.

Here is a pic with the flash off, next time I'll use my 20D to take the photo since I can set the ISO on it in increments where as the SD950 Canon cannot, that is why the picture is fuzzy and washed out.

ROFL :) It is cool. The funny thing is people dont realize just how cheap it is to setup a home theater. The only downside is the cost of the bulb when it goes out which is about every 2 - 3 years under regular use. The projector itself with bulb is about $1500 for a pretty darn good one and $2500 for a fantastic 1080p one and you can build a high quality screen for under $100 (mine cost $45) built from material from joanns fabric and lumber from home depot :)

I heard that too actually. My friend has a projector with one of the mirrors were off. he called the manufacturer who told them it was a discontinued model and gave him a gift certificate type thing for the cost of the projector. In the meantime, he opened up the projector and fixed the mirror himself.
So now he has a working projector plus a certificate for the cost of the projector to use on something else.
