    Tire decision

I want to buy a new set before going back to school (200miles away).

I'm stuck between these two tires (getting them in 195/55/15) -

    1. Yokohama S.Drive (Ultra High Performance Summer)
    2. Kumho Ecsta ASX (Ultra High Performance All-Season) - What I have now.

    Just some notes,
    - they are the same price at $68 per tire
    - no complains with my experience of the kumho ecsta asx's except maybe road noise which i dont think will improve if i go with the yokohama's
    - i have winter tires

    Input, please!

    Yoko's because they're mad type JDM, Yo!:D

Kidding aside, I've heard some pretty good reviews of them.

I recommend Toyo Proxes4 all season. It's a 300AA wear rating while still being a V speed rated tire.

i believe these yokohama tires have 300wear rating as well but wear rating is different for every brand. my ASX's had 420treadwear rating and its near the wear bar at about 33k-ish. These grand LX platinum grand-touring all-season tires from Kumho that I was looking at had 600treadwear rating.

I just ordered the yokohama's last night...getting em sometime today :)

I'm going to have to get tires within this month as well. I'm leaning toward the new Falken Ziex ZE-912's. 360AA wear rating and 40,000 mile warranty. Cheap too.

I'm getting Falken Ziex ZE-912 too. I think it's the best all season tires in that price range. I have the old version 512 and they are great (but REALLY bad in snow).
