    Finally got me some rims

I picked up a set of Dronell D Power TS-05 Rims
these are legit lightweight japanese rims that weigh about 18lbs each.

    http://www.globalautoshop.com/wheels/d_power.htm

i got the set of 17"s for $100 bucks, retail is around $2500, do the research if you dont believe me, so this is a hell of a good deal. i just need to sand it down and repaint. here's some pics so far

why repaint it? unless you want a different color, but if you want it white all it needs is a indept cleaning.

Wow $100 is really cheap! But 18lbs is really heavy to me. I guess it's light for 17"?
    I love my 10.8lbs 15" :D :D :D

    there's curb rashes and etc.

by the way, if anybody wanna give me some tips on painting wheels i'd very much appreciate it, im not very experienced w/ painting.

Use aircraft paint stripper. Use a couple coats of primer. Use the new Duplicolor wheel paint designed for wheels. :)

If you're going to use spray paint can, don't go for metallic color (I learnt it in the hard way) unless you're willing to do like 5-10 coat of clear after.

18lbs for a 17x whatever you have is a normal wheel weight. even my knock off 17x8 wheels are 18lbs.

great price. but dont let the marketing fool you.

hey jordan, you want to tilt the wheels a bit, spray can works best when they are sprayed straight. don't spray straight down it causes uneven streaks.
