This graph compares the processors between something in the far left, im not sure, an average PC, the XBOX 360's processor, and the PS3's processor....the Xbox's is significantly lower than the PS3's innovative CELL microprocessor technology....


Personally, my favorite is gonna be the PS3 just cuz im a huge Sony person....but i will admit that the XBO60's design beats all of them..

Cant wait until someone hacks the xbox360 for linux (hopefully).
That will be one hell of a powerful linux machine... and cheap! (I think xbox360 is to retail at $499.)

hehe, i wouldnt be in the house today cuz its nice as hell out but i cant really go nowhere cuz my car is messed up still.....

n plus, i got an email from another forum that told me about the ps3's new design....apparently it was an email from may 13th n i just hadnt checked my bulk mail...

Like the PS3. But the controller looks kinda weird. But performance wise. PS3 whooped XBOX big time. And in those pics. They look really real. I thought they were real.

yup, graphics on all games for the PS3 are said to be photo realistic....and it looks like they did a dayum good job...even with the Xbox 360...

im so torn on what one to buy..hmm think theyll release prices tomorrow at e3 live?

PS3 has my vote. Then again, I'm a Sony fan anyway.

The consensus among these learned types is that the two systems have comparable GPUs despite using different companies (ATI and NVidia), but that the CPUs are a completely different story.

Word from the geek is that the PS3’s CPU is about three times faster than the Xbox 360’s CPU. While this seems like a clear cut victory for Sony, it does little to end the constant debate about which system will be able to provide better games. The problem with Sony’s super-fast CPU is that not all of its power may actually be usable in games. Bottom line: There could be a lot of extraneous horsepower under the PS3’s hood that’s mainly for show, not actual gaming.
