+40 i believe is considered a "honda" offset. which means it will fit our cars.

Yeah, something around +40 will fit. You may still have to roll the fenders though.

TRDs I believe are +42? Anything in that area and you should be fine.

with a 7 inch wide wheel you should go with a +35 to +38 for a nice flush aggressive fit. but anything up to +48 should fit just fine, itll just look bad.

The TRD USA wheel is a 16X7 +47 and it doesn't look awful.

im thinking what he figures is that the higher offset will make your wheels stick out further, increasing the wheelbase....

lower offsets do that, not higher.

im just wondering what makes him say that +42 is the performance offset...

konig whats? that is a well rounded size and offset for the 8thgen.

no you didnt, +42 is a higher offset than +35. or are you referring to +42 in comparison to stock offset?

and offset has nothing to do with wheelbase. but it can effect trackwidth, was that what you meant to say?

im not saying anything. im saying he might be thinking that a higher offset means it pushes the wheel out further which would lead to a longer wheelbase which would give him more space to occupy the road. i wasnt the one who said +42 is a performance offset. im just trying to explain what he said because who knows if he will ever post again

dude... wheelbase is the measurement between the front and rear wheel. You are referring to trackwidth.
