AE101 TRD big brake kit?

AE101 TRD big brake kit?

So I was looking through some Japanese secondhand market listings and came across these..





According to the listing they are for AE101 but when I went to the TRD Japan website I cannot find any information about them. Do anyone know anything about this? Like if they require a large brake disc and if they are for normal strut or superstrut suspension?

maybe its just a different brand big brake kit with a "TRD" decal on it... who knows

is this for the rear?

Those were used on TRD's own AE111 Levin.....

I think most BZ-G's came with superstrut suspension, they might have also had larger rotors.
But those are definitely hard to come by, it'd be great if you could somehow retrofit it onto our cars.

EDIT: just watched the video again, and it's confirmed that it uses 315mm rotors, definitely larger than stock.
Vibe: those are meant to be installed on the front.

yea from the vid looks like it is superstrut equipped. OEM rotors are 255mm, SS are 275mm.. Way too much work to get the TRD rotors, thanks ray.

very cool was lookin in to getting them but i have 15" wheels and idk if the lower model ones would cut it. was it hard to put them on and do u notice a difference i braking even with the drums in the back

i dont have drums in the back thy were converted to disk, and yes thy stop on a DIME. AND THY DO HAVE A SET FOR 15" RIMS BRO CHECK THE WEB SIT I PUT UP OR HERE U GO.

Those are for Levin ae101/ae111 normal struts. They require 30cm dia. disc rotors.
