    Books: Angels and Demons

Who here reads? (Or knows how...haha)

Im in the middle of Angels and Demons, by Dan Brown. (Also wrote Davinci Code). This book is awesome....pretty scary too, because it deals with Antimatter. A single droplet of antimatter contains the explosive power of a ten kiloton bomb (Hiroshima.) Antimatter is extremely unstable and explodes when it comes in contact with absolutely anything (even air.) Nonetheless, antimatter is now being produced at CERN in Switzerland, where anti-particles are accelerated around a 27-mile-long circular tunnel... traveling so fast that they complete the enormous circle over 11,000 times per second.

    Thats incredible.

I honestly liked that even more than the DaVinci Code (which I can't WAIT to see in movie form this summer!!!) It was a really good book, I read it when I was working at AllState. Another set of pretty good religion based dramas are the "Left Behind" series.

Left Behind was a great series as well!

I enjoyed Angels and Demons better than Davinci Code.....I prefer the science over religion.

that sounds like a really interesting book.....i dont really like to read too much because i dont comprehend as well compared to visual aids....so if a movie, documentary, or something like that ever came out for this, then id definately wanna see it...

and plus i remember seeing something about the tunnel youre talking about on the discovery channel a long time ago....its really a spectacular site....found a picture of it....

    Imagine......circling 11,000 times per second....

The illustrated DaVinci Code is SO good. The artwork really helps in the references that Dan Brown makes, because unless you're a real art history buff, you're not gonna have a clue about some of his references.

Has anyone ever read any of Dan Brown's other books? I thought about it, but none of them looked as good as these did.

Oh, and Eric, funny how you prefer science over religion....isn't that the entire message? Science vs. Religion?
