I had to cut the factory door panels to get my speakers to fit, but didn't quite get as perfect of a cut as I wanted

anyone have ideas on how I could dress this up?



namely, I want to cover up the corners where I cut out too much of the panel

the only idea I had was to add a 1/2" circular decal border around the cutout so that everything looks even

here's the comparison to the stock speaker...what a difference!

i know this doesnt answer your question but if you would have made 3/4 spacers out of MDF you could have kept the speakers hidden under the door panel...

I did make spacers...and I used a single layer of 3/4" MDF and two 1/2" pieces to safely clear the window...





any ideas to make it look better?

take it to an audio expert or try yourself with some filler, or re upholster.

maybe look for those speaker grilles for the size of ur speaker?

yes, just pick up a speaker grille with a larger diameter.

Fiberglass, bondo, paint.

thats why i kept the original 4'' speakers in the front.
