great fun.. good car.. getting used to an MR car is a bit of a learning curve if you like to drive it hard..

would you want automatic gearbox, manual, or manual tiptronic?

Don't get auto or the tiptronic. It doesn't do it justice. It's a mid engine rear wheel drive car. Getting auto is ruining the entire purpose of buying that car. :)

Wheels are the last thing for that car. The number one needed upgrade is the suspension, followed by engine work.

^^Right. Now I remember. Some magazine tested both manual and 6 speed sequential. Bottomline: Get manual.

haha if i do upgrade id probably trade in my moms gas guzzling minivan and donate my rolla to my brother after reverting it to stock (mostly to stock) and yeah id get a manual. if i do get one id probably just stick to some minor boltons like my corolla has and then donate the rest of my money to suspension upgrades, i was looking at parts for them last night..

i work at the same one celica_man works at....but like its difficult when they dont have a car instock they have to trade a car...and they dont rly do that for used cars so eh =\

i also have to take into account factors like insurance, rent(moving out soon closer to a light rail station so i can train to school rent will be shared with my dad instead of him paying room and board at school), i have to call my insurance agent and get a quote....i have a feeling the mr2 will be cheaper then an rx8 or s2000
