DeebsTundra rolls 100,000 miles!

So she'll be 5 years old on August 8th of this year.

Rolled the 100,000 mark the other day, then exactly 7 miles, was 100,000 miles I personally had put on the truck.

Still runs like the day she was purchased.

Isn't that a lot? Isn't like 12,000 miles a year the norm nowadays? I dunno...I have an 05 and I'm nearing 50,000 miles...so for 3 years that is average 16000 miles a year .. holy crap thats a lot. Most of it though was for the year that I was in the military and living 22 miles away from the base. So 44 miles each way for at least 5 days a week ... in that year it was 10,000 just driving to and from work. that isn't all the driving we did using my car because all nathan has was the pick up and GTS. Geesh ... my poor elantra, no wonder my shift knob broke...

For the first year I was at 72 miles round trip to work everyday. Next 2.5 years I was 68 round trip I think. Last year I moved closer to work, so miles will start to taper off, as it's only about 29-30 roundtrip.


... and here comes E with his 200+ one-way commute!

I've been driving 01 corolla about 65 miles roundtrip for the last 6 or 7 years. I'm waiting for the clouds of white smoke to exit from my tail pipe.
