    8th gen radiator shroud

I'm going to pick up my old project and start making this. I used to have a picture of an AE110 with a custom radiator shroud, but I lost it. I found the picture.

And this is the DIY one from sxlostv1 which I am improving upon.

If it's not too much trouble, I'll start making batches if there's a demand.

Which Japanese equivalent model is that for? Yeah, the part isn't listed on the website, so I'd have to give them the part number.

You're killing me man. LOL :D And soon my wallet will be killed too. hahaha I'm not in a rush to buy it, so don't sweat it. hehe The radiator cooling panel is pretty pricey for being just a piece of sheet metal. LOL Buying both of those from Beatrush is probably going to be around 300+ dollars.

Starting tomorrow I'm going to start designing my own cooling panel and under panel. I see design flaws that I can improve upon. :D

    If they're a success, I'll start selling them. :)

edit: fixed your thread title and original post. and im glad to see you edited your cars specs... still a bit off on the power though.

Will do. I'll try to improve upon his design or make something completely on my own.

I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt. LOL :D I haven't listed everything I've actually done to the car in my profile. :)

Anyways, I finished the templates for the cooling panel. Now I need to source the sheet metal and dremel tool. :D I'm not quite sure if I'm going to incorporate bends into it like you see in the template. I'm also planning to have the lower section tuck inside the grill area for a better seal. Everything still up in the air at the moment. Powdercoating or paint will be something I need to think about after the prototype is done.

The design had to change again. No pics this time. Tucking it under the front grill like the professionally made ones is a bigger pain than it looks.

It directs air into into the radiator instead of everywhere else and improves cooling efficiency. I need everything that can bring down the engine temperature right now.

I have an unwrapped/unshielded aftermarket header that heat soaks everything around it especially on my hard canyon drives.

Like Jspex said, Kamispeed can special order it for you. It won't be cheap though. It's around 150 bucks.

I'll be designing an under panel later as well. :)

do radiator shrouds even do anything since our engines are so small, and none of us are pushing over 200hp?

NONE that is a bold statement. Some of us are. Yes they make the air go though the rad instead of around it. My car is set up for canyons, yea I may not be the fastest on the straights but add corners and you have yourself a fighting chance. lol....
