    Tinted windows

For this being the $12.98 dollar window tint, I dont think it turned out too bad! Just did the rear side windows and the little window on the rear door. Gott buy some 20% for the front side windows so it at least looks a little legal lol.

And I figured I would make some eyelids with the left over tint. Thats what happens when you stay home from school one day and your really bored lol.

Let me know what you think!

Wow. Very nice. If I tried to do that myself, I'd have bubbles up the ass. LOL :D

lol trust me i went through some frustrating times with doing that and had to redo a window twice but i mean its better than paying someone lik 200-300 to do it. the only one im sketchy about is doing the back window it looks like its gonna suck but im gonna give it a try one of these days.

Yeah took me a few different trys to get the technique down but it looks just as good on the inside than it does on the outside. I need to find some window tint as wide as my back window tho because the stuff i use is 6ft long by 2 ft wide and i dont think thats wide enough

looks good from here. I think a hairdryer will come in handy when you do the curves in the back window. keep up the good work.

The rear window is the most difficult, the flim would only shrink one way and you need to make sure it doesnt winkle. Some shops do it in 2 pieces and hide the seam where a defroster line sits.

just remember that a lil bit of dirt will ruin the whole tint

looks really nice!! i did my nissans tint myself, but i paid to get the civic done which was only $190 from the front 2 windows back and its got a lifetime warranty on it. but i would only do 35% on the front windows, in my civic i have never had any problems with cops with the 35%, but my nissan i had 20% on the front and got pulled over everyother week for it

You can do a very light tint in the front. Maybe 85% to 95%

thats not true, that used to be the CA law, but now its illegal to have tint at all in the front 2 windows

however...most cops dont really care if its light. i have about 77% in the front, no problem so far

A trick we use here for now. Wally world has a 5% removable tint. You cut and install and if you get pooped you say sor^% sir Ill remove right now. You remove until you get around the corner and back on it goes. :ninjastea

Yup, I got a ticket last November with 35%, along with a ticket for a covered license plate. So I went with 50% after getting the ticket signed off by CHP.
