    windows xp service pack 3

    anybody installed it yet? things working correctly for you?

    I've had to reinstall a few programs but otherwise it seems to be working.

    hmm i'm on Vista..dunno if i should go with XP or Vista for my desktop this summer.

    let me know your sp3 experience in further detail if any bad things (or good!) happen.

    Vista sucks up so much system resources. If you were to reformat and run XP, you'll notice a hug increase in processing speed.

    haha yeah i had to upgrade to 3gb ram but its all good in the hood now. i love this laptop with my vista.

    I personally love vista.. 64bit edition though with 4gb of memory. but i'm working on xp still myself because i cant afford anything more. haha. I need to do a complete reinstall on my computer before installing sp3 since its so jacked up righ tnow.. oh well..

    i'm sure it has for some people. everytime a new servicepack comes out, its messed up at least a few people's computers..

    so i was hunting through the microsoft site and the only sp3 thing i could find was something for office XP...i might be looking wrong but idk, i have office 2007 so that sp3 for office xp wont help...

    Have it installed on both the Desktop and Laptop....I will use XP till Vista pack 2 or 3 comes out and then I might downgrade to that to keep with the times.


    Problem with Vista is that its a pain. My parents are computer programmers and my mom is on her 3rd month of getting there 5 programs to work with Vista. She still has 3 to go.

    i too have vista but i have it running on my mac. It runs great, alot better than i have seen when it was running on pc's

    as far as i know it was pushed back till tommorow cause of a "glitch"
