If they do, they are stupid because it costs a helluva lot more to raise a kid than they could ever get back from tax deductions.

Even if the mother is an illegal immigrant? Well, it depends if they were to both be deported.

My Tundra is getting better fuel mileage than my Tacoma did.

I still hope gas stays under $5/gallon, though.

    Oil Prices

We don't even have to drill more in Alaska we just have to keep the oil that we sell to either Japan and or China at a much cheaper price than we can buy oil that comes out of the Alaskan pipeline. From my understanding 85% of Alaskan pipeline oil goes over seas???? Part of past administrations trade agreements. HuMMM:superconf
Needless to say we don't need a oil reserve, for crying out loud the conflict is in a country that produces oil. Hello!!
Along with the other things I've read here prior.

:superconf and mechanical Mods to my Rolla will wait until this oil mess is over;)
Most mods hurt fuel economy. I still have kids in college to pay for:)

And for us in America expect a President that was put in office by the Oil powers to do something about the present situation is funny.

    Vote for Change!

If your modifications are done correctly, you'll increase gas mileage. I'm running an I/H/E and I'm getting 35-40 mpg.

If you're easy on the throttle, sure they will.

    I probably could get close to 30 in my SW20. I don't. :p

Gas mileage is all due to driving habits. Drive conservatively and you'll enjoy great gas mileage. Driving your car like you stole it, you'll have horrible mileage.
