Engine check engine light?

    go to autozone or strauss or a place where they can check what code your putting out ..

    check engine light?

    the picture of an engine with the word 'check' has been on for a while now. I popped my hood and i examined what coulda been the problem. Any suggestion?

    Wow. That's the dumbest suggestion I've ever heard. The check engine light is there for a reason.

    Do what DjiNN suggested.

    just take some black spray paint and spray it over the check engine light. that will solve the problem = )

    Disconnect the battery for a couple minutes and see if it's just a system hiccup.

    no better yet, put bb's in your radiator and run it on high RPM. THAT will solve all your problems!

    I think you guys scared the new guy off already. :(

    You can do 2 things as suggested:
    1) Disconnect the battery for a couple minutes and see if it's just a system hiccup
    2) go to autozone or strauss or a place where they can check what code your putting out

    i drove his car today, it seems muffled in acceleration compared to my car. I think he just needs new spark plugs, air filter, and possibly new coils.

    Another thing is his suspension. If u'r front under sway bar is completely shot cause of rust and is about to break, wouldn it have significant affects through potholes and different terrains? Or is it simply the springs?
