    What ive been working on....

    Well i decided to paint my Mirrors since they were them Carbon Fiber looking ones and they faded. heres some pics....


    My mirrors were more faded than these. Those are my old m3 mirrors.

    Is there any technique in u'r painting? I have had some bad experience in the past. How do u make it come out so uniform?

    do yours are powered? I tried the 6 possibilities directly on my car battery:

    white 12+ yellow gnd
    white 12+ blue gnd
    yellow 12+ white gnd
    yellow 12+ blue gnd
    blue 12+ white gnd
    blue 12+ yellow gnd

    nothing happened but my mirrors moved...

    so the same wires are suppose to be used by both the corner lights and the mirror buttons

    not sure but I think that the corner light has 3 wires blue yellow and white... am I wrong? so tell me what was your wire connections...

    hey you are probably able to help me... I have the same mirrors as you, mine are powered... so the 3 (white blue yellow) wires are connected and the mirrors move but I am not able to light the leds with the same 3 wires (I tried all the possibilities)... what am I suppose to do??

    on mine theres 3 wires that have like a loom, theyre kind longer than the other 3 theyre for the motor that moves the mirror the other 3 are for the lights which you'll have to either buy some wire, run it to your signals(corner lights) and tap into them or find a way to wire them in the back of the dash.

    ok maybe the other three wires are rolled in the mirror... I'll check it out... and by curiosity, what are the different colors of the wires ??
