I'm so excited. I bought a PS3 for only 379.99 + free shipping + no tax. I did the Amazon recommendation manipulation like other people have done and it works! I saved 5% (20 bucks) off retail. hehe

I got it primarily for Blu Ray. I'm not that hardcore of a gamer. Pretty much COD4 and KZ2 are the only ones I'm interested in now.

I like the PS3 but the only thing keeping me from fully liking it, is the perfection of the xbox controller in u'r hand. Its so tight. I know its silly but for some reason thats a huge buying factor for me.

But in the end i will want to buy a blu ray player and get a PS3

my buddy told me microsoft will have a addon for blueray soon.

Yeah, me too. the PS controller is very ergonomic. After playing the XBox, my hand aches. With the PS controller, it feels like an extension of my hand. There's a reason why the controller hasn't changed since PS1. LOL

buy the HDMI cable at frys or open item from bestbuy. don't bother spending more than $20. oh yeah, you need to pre-order Gran Turismo Prologue. I played it yesterday Japanese version. It was fun. Mustangs are hella hard to control.lol

Blu ray owns all

My PS3 was delivered today and I don't have any games to try out. I did however pick up a copy of Casino Royale in Blu ray. It looks crisp and clear with no pixelation at high speeds. It's only running at 480i though. I have yet to buy the HDMI cables to hook up to my Sony Bravia. I can't wait to get full 1080p.

I'll be getting that on my trip to Vegas. I'll be shopping for games and movies at the outlets there. I bought my HDMI cable for 5 bucks shipped from amazon. Gold plated too. I did some research on side by side comparisons of brand name HDMI cables with generic cables. Companies are just ripping off the clueless public with brand alone. Digital signal is digital signal. The wire transmitting it doesn't matter.

I enjoy my PS3. I pre-ordered Gran Turismo Prologue and i now i have to wait. I hate waiting. BTW, what is everyone's PSN name? Mine is TenZen007
