6th gen stock strut bar

    I don't really see a need for a 3 point front bar. Strut bars don't make as much a difference as sway bars.

    6th gen stock strut bar

    I got one to fit on my 8th gen. It required the removal of cruise control(if you have it) and some grinding of the attachment holes. The reason why you want this strut bar is because it is a 3-point bar. You need to drill holes in the firewall (where the wipers are) to properly mount it. The advantage is you can pick one up for about $10 at a junkyard.

    it looks something like this. Eventually, I want to weld another component straight across, making it a triangular shape, thus making it just as strong as the expensive 2-point bars.

    corollas dont go fast enough to need a strut bar. but always looks cool

    I had one of those, I found it to be very flimsy since it is made from very thin gauge metal. You could pick up a Cusco bar and use it along with that one. The cusco bar is made to be used in conjunction with the OEM strut bar.
