    Mits feelin Subu's presssure?

    Hey,

So i know there was a lot of discussion about how ppl love the wrx hatchback/wagon. But look at what mits is bringing.

    http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/23/...ype-s-unmasked/

its a prototype, but its save to assume that it is coming out.
Any words of wisdom Eric? I think it looks alright. I would rather buy the sedan.

It's nice, but it still won't compare to the heavy track testing of the STi. Keep in mind the STi 5 door beat the new Evo head to head. Now, if the Evo is also a 5 door, the weight distribution will be off and more heavy, making it slower.

subaru said "eventually all will follow this trend" meaning going to hatchback for rally races. The Focus has been using a hatch but since subaru changed, i think everyone will follow. we see it in mitsubishi already.. humm. whos next...

Yes. Conformity is popular these days as it has been for a while now.

id be satisfied with a Lexus IS 250 but for that money i might buy the new pontiac G8 or BMW 1 series. Both cars are incredible. But i would only buy the GXP G8 which will have approximately 407 + hp and cost around 38,000.

And its a holden not a pontiac!!!

i see it like a teen must have that crappy bmw. Its the like performance emblem. Than when they finally get a good job they get a benz. When they get settled down it must be an audi.

    We here are exceptions.

Well one of my favo new cars is the BMW Z4 M COUPE. Ok ok i know they copied the Miata with the z3 but the z4 coupe is just unique and extremely beautiful. Its capabilities even more amazing. I love the car very much and would only buy it new. But dropping 50,000 for one, ehhh not so much.

I wouldn't buy a car just based on status. I want a car that is comfortable/luxurious, performance oriented, and reliable.

Lately, my interest in cars is based on their exterior styling and interior design. I say that an interior design can be easily made nice through the use of different colors and materials. Afterwards i like a car to be a performer. I guess i see this over reliability because i have taken it for granted owning only a toyota.

Fast cars are nice but since i have driven a jag xk8 which did 0-60 in 6 i realized u can no longer floor it when ever u feel like it. Although current stats make that seem rather measly to other cars in its class, i realize it is sufficient for me. I rather have a car that corners well than a 500hp beast. And i guess the last thing on the list is fuel consumption which nowadays should be the first thing on the list. ALSO taken for granted because i drive a toyota.

Thats where my skyline comes in!!!

I have always thought if i would trade a normal car for like an extreme sports car . Something like a track rally car, Gutted out. I wouldn't. I sometimes want a nice quiet car just for cruising. I think a nissan SKYLINE would be great in all those perspectives.
