    that been around since before i can drive, seen infomercials of it a couple years back as well. I actually saw a guy walk into autozone or pepboys' parts counter and ask to buy one, LOL.

    What you thought you gained was placebo gas mileage. Spinning air into the throttle body wouldn't work since the air has to hit the throttle plate which disrupts the flow anyways. It's better off not having one.

    What happened to the Tornado? I think they call them vortex generators these days. :D LOL What a joke.

    i used the tornado air on my 1998 chevy malibu v6. THERE WAS a 2% gain in mpg.... no joke for a good 2 months of using it. i filled up every 340 miles. (assuming if you drive safely and don't speed and whatever).

    the lame part about it is the tornado air is that the 2% gain in mpg is nothing since gas prices are so dynamic. i know a few people who used them and get good results. the commercials and advertisments totally BS you on the numbers though.

    your putting an obstruction in the intake air stream, no good can come from it. maybe if it wasn't efi, it might make the fuel asperate a little better, but ya waste of money.
