    Just keep putting your money away and you'll be surprised by how much you can save in a few month if your really strict with it. Sorry to hear, you had to spend that much to fix your car. Hopefully everything comes around for you.

    Some noob questions about the charger.
    1) What kind of fuel do we need to run with the charger? 95?
    2) Can I disable the charger whenever I want? Not uninstall it, but like switch it off? Like when I go aircare or when I want to save gas on road trip?
    3) Can we set the charger to start spool at like 3000rpm instead of spool right away when the engine start?
    4) How do we maintain the charger? Something like change oil every 6k??
    5) Looks like the design of the intake manifold will "push" all the air into the 2 ports near the TB and the further port will get not enough air.

    The Unichip plug-n-play unit, that will come with the kit, will control the fuel and everything else required to make this thing work. Check out the Unichip site and learn about it. They don't have a set up listed on there for the 98-2000 Corolla, but Robin has hooked up a deal with them and can get them already tuned for the 98-2000 corolla with the supercharger. It will be included in the kit. Here's the Unichip site: <a href="http://www.unichip.us/index.asp" target="_blank">http://www.unichip.us/index.asp</a>

    3000 is a good deal considering that the fuel management and tuning is included.

    Anyone want to change their red status to black?

    These kits will be available as soon as the fit and testing on fastswimmerguy's car is complete. We want to make sure that this thing will fit and work properly on the 8th gen before we start selling them. The guy who is making them, Robin is his name, has the jigs used to manufacture the intake manifolds already set up. So it shouldn't take very long to produce the kits from what he told me. I feel confidant that we will have no issues with the install and testing. Anyone who wants to come and check out the install and testing for themselves is welcome. There will be allot of photos taken and some write ups on the thing as well. So once everything is done, be lookin for the new photos and info. We'll be doing the fit and test in Santa Clarita CA in a couple weeks. I'll post more info on this once the exact date and time is figured out. fastswimmerguy, I'll be in touch with you once I get a hold of Robin.<br />
    <br />
    As far as payments go. I have to talk with Robin about that. I don't know if he'll take payments or not. I'll find out for those of you who are asking about a payment plan.

    It truly is a good deal considering that you can't find another supercharger system like this that will fit your car. TRD made one for the 2003-2004 Corolla/Matrix for around $2950 and up. And The TRD unit didn't have as good of a tune as the Unichip, that will come with these kits, does. The only other option you have other then this is a turbo. The turbo will cost allot more, if you go with a quality turbo, due to all the extra stuff you need and plus, there's no plug-n-play with that type of set up everything needs to be tuned which will cost a lot more money. And to tell you the truth, if this kit does what I believe it will, I'll be selling my TRD supercharger and getting one of these.

    Hey guys, think about it. This is a custom supercharger that's designed to fit and work on all the 1ZZFEs out there. Know when you see the word custom what do you think that means? When I see it, it means that it's the only one available and that it's not mass produced in some factory that has no idea how this thing should work or even fit for that matter. This thing is manufactured here in the good ol U.S. of A. And it was designed and test on the MRS's 1zzfe, which is the same engine as all the other 1ZZFEs with the exception of VVT-i. If you have ever seen what it cost to have something manufactured for your car, you'll know that it ain't cheap. So with that said, I honestly believe that this kit at this price is a steal of a deal considering that it's custom and that it's the only one available for the 1zzfe and it will also fit the 2zzge. If you can find a custom supercharger kit like this for less, then buy it.

    Hmmm Ill consider it depending on price but money is really tight right now because of school. Do not put me on any list right now. The odds are very slim so I dont want to put the guy in a hole because I know how it feels when you setup a GB and then everybody flakes out. Ill just wait it out and see what happens.

    rollatuner110, you heard the man, don't put him on the list yet. Thanks for not jumping into this with out having the money yet and then end up pulling out at the last minute. I hope that other people out there will do the same as you. All it takes is a few people to jump on this and say they want one and then when it comes time to pay, they pull out at the last minute and end up screwing everybody over that has the cash and really wants it. So thanks bro.

    From what Robin, the guy producing this, said it will be a complete kit. The only thing you might need to purchase is a TRD thermostat, colder plugs (ik20 instead of ik16) and a serpentin belt, which we'll have to figure out what size will fit when we install this on fastswimmerguy's car. The serpentin belt on the 1zzfe powered MRS is a differnet size due to it not having a power steering pump mounted on the engine. It utilizes a electric power stearing system. The thermostat is required inorder to make the engine run cooler to prevent detenation and the cooler plugs are required do to the cylinder temps being higher when you use forced induction. You can purchase the TRD thermostat from Monkey Wrench Racing for around $80.00 shipped. Here's the link for that: http://monkeywrenchracing.com/trd_1...oyota_1_8l.html I don't know how much the cooler plugs will cost you but I know that the plugs for the 2zzge are the same as the 1zzfe and they will work. The plugs for the 2zzge are ik20, which is what you need for the 1zzfe with supercharger. The 1zzfe uses ik16 plugs. So depending on what brand you buy, your looking at about $30-50 for a set of four plugs. Now the ik16 and ik20 plugs are Denso Iridium plugs which you can sometimes find on ebay for a good price. Now once the fit and test is done for the 8th gen, Robin may include the above items in the kit, but I can't guarantee it.

    But we wouldn't be doing it alone. We would have as many people that show up work on each car. I'm sure productivity time will be cut down drastically. But... a sleepover is still required since there are a lot of us. This only applies to those near the LA area though. :D

    You know, I was thinking. After the test fit is completed and payments are done, maybe we could have a group install. Then we can have a group meet and video take as well.
