    lol dont banned me :sad: well i went to see the car in person at San Jose, CA . Its an 01 S w/5 speed w/black interior alrite it had everything but the S badge in the rear and the front fogs. I asked him did this car had any accident he said "None what so ever". And i asked him where are there front fogs with this car and he told me toyota never made fog for this model. I was like :mad: even my dad who wanted another corolla know that there are front fogs on a 01-02 S. So now my dad is still deciding to get the car or not. Is that is good price for an 5/speed "S" Sorry for the wait i was busy at work and havent got a chace to give you guys an answer until now.

    Sure you can buy the side skirt but that if my dad decided to get this car though. I mean he doesnt need the "S" side skirt since he is using that car to teach student how to drive STICK cause he is a driving instructor here in CA

    Just run the VIN number - it should tell you what options the car should have on it. I agree with the others here - looks like an S model from the interior appointments (except for the maybe radio - I always though the S models came with single CD headunits as standard) - but the exterior does not. No front fogs, side mirrors are not body colored, who knows what else it wrong.

    it shows if a vehicle's been totalled, if there's a salvage title, if there's any odometer fraud.

    and gone to the dealership to get the black inserts? i doubt it.

    I can't imagine buying a car to teach people who to drive stick on. Man that would suck. Say bye bye to the clutch every 2000 miles...lol

    then he shouldn't have lied and said the the S never came with fogs.

    You should have looked at the signal stalk and see if it had the foglight switch on it. If it did then you could have caught him in the lie right there. All S's came with fogs. Tape deck was standard option. I know this cuz I used to own one.
