HID's, projectors or stock headlights

I am thinking of getting a pair of bi-xenon HID's at either 6000K or 4300K, not 100% sure.

I've heard that projector lights are good to get when getting HID's.

just wondering what the difference between the stock headlights and the projectors would be.

and if i really need them or not, and what your guys opinions on this is.

go with the bi-xenon HID's in the black jdm housing, its not over done just yet = ).

And than get yellow fogs like the IS300. thats wat i am doing. than again i am quite ambitious.

with projectors, you dont blind ppl as much, its not much of a concern for you, the driver
and..i suggest getting 6000k, 4300k's color is pretty much OEM, the ugly yellowish/white color

4300k is best and brightest. its not the yellow ugly one like some halogen bulbs

Is there any problem on putting HID's on aftermarket projectors? for example on the 93-97 projectors

This is what retrofit could do to you, even and not blinding light output:

its best to retrofit projectors into the original housing. With the retrofit, you'll get the perfect cutoff and you won't be glaring all over the place. And I have yellow HIDs for fogs on my car and its pretty good but just make sure you adjust the fogs to aim down otherwise you'll be blinding people with your fogs. And also the black headlights do help some with the glare if you can't afford the retrofit.

how much did you pay for that retrofit?

In that pic, what's up with strange cutoff sharp on the passenger side? It's supposed to be a slight elevation on the passenger side, but that is ridiculous. The cutoff itself is very sharp, but the sharpest I've ever seen are the S2000 projectors(best on the market).

retrofit is hella expensive. Just save up for a car it comes stock on.

I wonder if LS430 projectors will fit in the stock lights, they're supposedly produce the widest beam of any HID projector out there, however I'm not sure if the cutoff is as sharp as the S2000/TSX setups though.

S2000/TSX projectors are the best for output. I've seen several and those have to be the best I have ever seen. The wider the beam means more potential visibility, but you can't see as well since the light is spread out too much reducing intensity.

get the projector HID... cuz i had an 06 corolla s that i gave 2 my sister ... since i got me the 09 corolla s... anywayz... they look betta n they'll pass the state inspection... stock.. they wont... so honestly ... is up 2 u
