haha I right there with you. I don't need no brakes. I'll just stick my foot out Flintstones style.

yeah dude, waaayyy too much money.... I'd rather spend that money on fixing up my motor... THEN when the speed is too much to handle, I'll go big brakes, besides. you need at least a 17inch rim to house the rotor and caliper. not many people here are sporting that sized rim on 8th gen at least...

I think everyone here that is lowered rubs. I rolled my fenders and I still rub on 15s!

With a set of good rotors and metallic pads in the front you should be all set with stopping in a little car like a Corolla (aside from having large rims). Remember, you can make the brakes as powerful as you want, but if the tires can't keep traction its worthless.

haha yeah i know they are expensive, but i just felt like sharing my findings on ebay.

at least someone was thinking of the 8th gen when making a set.

finally someone put out a brake upgrade for our years... i mean seriously only having rotors doesn't really help if the caliper sucks :p

It would actually fit all 93-02. Modifying corollas are a lot more popular in Taiwan so I'm not suprise they have a bbk avaliable.

I'd rather go for a wilwood setup like the one from fastbrakes.com in AZ or carcareoffice.com in Japan. Then I wouldn't have to buy ridiclously large rims.

Yea I'm planning on getting that set with billet dynalite calipers (like the one @ carcareoffice). They're the same as the forged version offered but I think the billet version look better.

i was looking into those brakes. Anyone gotten them yet? i dont think 700 is too much for a big brake kit even the 1000 one isnt bad compared to the first ones shown and ouch the 17inchers too much for something so expensive and big requirements

take a bat to it dood. thats what i did. well no dont slam on it but... you know.

btw i think bbk's are too much for our rollas. hawk pads, braided steel brake lines, crossdrilled rotors, a can of red caliper paint, great stoping power and those ignorant ricer kids think you have a custom brake setup.
