when did your lift stop working? just all of a sudden? I almost want to say check your cams but please give us more detail on how this all occured and what happens after 6200rpm right now.

i'm not an expert with VVTL-i engines but 1. you did get the camshaft designed for vvtLi and not the regular vvti im assuming..2. check to see that your ecu is working correctly. 3. maybe that spacer (rocker arm pad? cant remember what it was called) is stuck and or the oil pressure that moves it isn't functioning properly?

I'm not sure how the valves or springs would make a huge difference when you are looking at lift.

when the revs reach to 6200 the engine limiters...

just like if i was at a stand still and i rev the engine to 6200 the safty limiter comes on..

let me know if u knwo what i am talking about

ok well my mechanic and i are gogn to take off the valve pan cover tomrrow to see what is going on in there..... we are hearing a noise in the head... so ill have to see what that is

and yeah we did think about the rockers sticking or something... so we are goign to look into thata....

as for changing the cams back to normal... i am trying my best not to do so.... also for the stock cams to go back in i would have to go and reshim the head again.. seeing that i had to do so for these cams to fit...

Produced from brand new cores, Piper's 2ZZ-GE cams are a direct fit for the Lotus Elise 190hp, Toyota Celica GTS 2000+, and the Matrix/Corolla XRS and Vibe GT.

i never would have though of putting nitrous in your car. Wouldn't it cause it not to turn with all the power it will be giving? just thinking about it gives me the chills. hehe
