    question about taillights

im thinking of getting smoked tailights, yet i dont want the orange part

so is it ok for me to tint the orange red first?
and then put black film tint over the entire tailight?

basically, i guess two tings are gonna overlap through the orange area, is that ok? would it work?

It turns out really well if you practice. hehe
Hint: Use lots of heat and soapy water.

Well yeah, it's tinted. I personally wouldn't tint my taillights. It's hard to tell if you're braking from behind especially in the sun. I'm paranoid about people rear ending me.

Hey, I have the clear tail light if you want. You can paint it any color you like.

slightly off subject but until I took a class on color, I always thought that tinting something was to make darker but its actually to make lighter by usually adding white to give a more pale color. so how come the term "tinting windows" got the definition of making darker/shading the window? If anyone knows this answer, please let me know. Its been bothering me for like 4 years. haha

i decided to use these 2002 stock inner tail lights to replace my inner ones. (the white part is a circle instead of a rectangular shape, and i believe it still fits my 2000) but i cant find them anywhere online ]=

i see a few on ebay, but they are used and only for one side -_-

anyone know where to get them?

I have both sides but I would want to sell the whole rear tail light pieces, not just the trunk piece. if you're interested, let me know.
