you seem to gain 'performance' through ways that would bring minimal effect and with things that need to be constantly replenished..

    Omg

DrunkSaru was right. It certainly does help throttle response. I'm sure the HyperGauss by itself wouldn't have done much but used with the pulse plugs and everything else I have on the car, the effects were multiplied. Throttle response at all rpms are almost instantaneous and torque increases can be felt. I took it for a canyon run just to prove to myself whether or not I was simply feeling placebo power. No, I was not. It certainly gave my car a kick in the pants. I actually started to shake and sweat going through the canyons. The difference was immeasurable. My car has literally outgrown it's suspension and braking system. I'll need upgrades in the recent future. With these efficiency improving products, it's all or nothing. You have to have a lot of them working together to feel a significant increase. If you only have one, you'll think it's a waste of money. I'm actually thinking of getting a second HG. It should magnify the effect even more.

I can't wait to see how my throttle response will be after 2 of these. As of now without changing my driving style, I chirp or peel out off of normal stops. The throttle response right now is almost immediate and quick. After 2, I'm thinking it'll be "jumpy" and torque crazy. hehe

btw, with the plugs, I gained another 3 mpg. I'm not sure how much the HG will add to that. I'm averaging 32-33 mpg now in an auto and I do NOT drive conservatively at all.

haha I'm sure the HG without the plugs would feel like nothing. The single biggest power adder are the plugs. Everything else only magnifies the effects. I'd like to exaggerate but this is actually something I can actually feel and experience.

i still dont see how your car has outgrown from your suspension and braking system when all youve increased was bout 5hp...if that. lol i just thought your post about sweating and shaking was kinda funny to read.

haha It's hard to explain. Have you ever gotten a chill down your spine when you get a sense of excitement? And then cold sweat. That's what I felt after I experienced the new acceleration rate. It was a lot quicker, harsh, and responsive. My car's cheapo coilovers on KYB struts suspension is getting old and I've noticed that after the pulse plugs, the car wasn't responding and handling at it's present power. It was on the edge. After the HG, it just pushed it over the line. My car feels unpredictable now and I don't like how I can't make it move the way I want it to. The braking is also underpowered now. The car is burning much more efficiently now and has less parasitic drag so it doesn't like to slow down as easily. It takes more effort to slow the car down. It feels a bit risky at times. I've made the tires squeal a bit more than I'm used to on my canyon run due to me having to brake extra hard to compensate for the power gain. Like I said, it's hard to explain. You'd have to experience it for yourself. The power geometry vs. handling characteristics just don't match up. It feels like driving a different car.

I wouldn't say it's just 5 hp. I'm sure it's more than that when it has a compounded effect with all the other performance parts and Sun Auto parts. A few alone would not give the same output as having everything working together. I'm not as bold as to say I gained 20 hp but it's a bit more than 5. I do have a CAI, header, and catback along with the Pulstar's and Sun Auto products all working together.

btw, I haven't really read the manual for the HVS MR but is it supposed to be flashing red and green? mine is always green. Red means not getting power correctly.

EDIT: Nevermind, it does flash. oh well...

I finally installed my Hyper Voltage GT!!! small difference though. Kinda sad. But then again i've been driving slowly and safely. You know when your throttle cable is loose and you don't get the response but the feel of after you tighten it? Thats the feeling I have and also feels like my ECU was slightly upgraded too since it responds noticeably faster. But the coolest thing is I now have a cool green blinking light in my car. lol.

now i just need to get off my butt and put on my fender braces.. hehe

The blinking green and red light feeling gets old real fast. LOL People always ask what that is when they see it. haha I like the light because when the battery it dead, it doesn't flash anymore. hahaha
