    Who Throws Oil???

so there I was driving home from dropping my girlfriend off at work... I'm doing the speed limit as I always do on that part of kipling. I see a truck up ahead so I get ovre in to the left lane and pass him, get back over he flips the birdie (thinking hes all cool for his girlfriend). So I think its all over a couple of lights down the road he pulls up next to me and starts screaming... and I mean screaming. this dude is pissed off. so I do what any body in that situation would do I roll up my windows and ignore him... we go I think its over again. next light I look over and see him again. this time I look up in just enough time to see his smug face throw an entire quart of moble1 at my car, so now i'm pissed, and I mean pissed. so here I am sitting at my desk where I can see my car with out straining my neck cause he proceded to follow me to my complex... I saw him behind me and booked it out the other side and finaly lost him down the road abit. ok so thats my venting post for the day... thanks for reading

windex thats not a bad idea, but hot hot water(hot as you can get it, or stand it) and good car soap. I budy of mine was changing his oil and forgot to put the oil cap back on and got oil all over the enginebay. He used hot soapy water and it got 90% of it off.

thats the whole thing I didn't think I did any thing... he was going slower than the speed limit so I passed him... I got a decent distance away before getting back infront of him... I don't think I did anything wrong but aparently he did.

water is not going to get it off, water and oil dont mix, dont use windex, it dries weird on paint, and is hard to get off as well, just use soaps and water, and scrub and scrub it, you have to agitate the oil in order to break the micelles in the oil apart so that the soap can break its micelles to invade the oil and bring it out into solution where it will solubilize into the water....

and really, who does throw oil, I would have let him follow me to my house, where I would stop, and proceed to get the bat out of my trunk, and make him eat that quart of oil

I always carry a bottle of DOT3 brake fluid with me for such reasons. If someone wants to get all crazy on me and throw shit at my car I'll just roll down the passenger window twist the top off the brake fluid and fire in the hole that bad boy. Just make sure you go wash you car immdiatly just incase you got any spray on your own car because in 24hrs brake fluid will eat though clear coat, base coat and primer. Some people might think this is uncalled for no matter what someone does to your car but I say @#$% that :) If someone wants to throw shit at your car they deserve to get some damage :)

heh fuckin a. that guy woulda gotten a nice call by the cops if that'd been me. did you get his plate? if so, call him in. the fact he threw something at your car means he's gonna get the shit kicked outta him. Colorado has a zero tolerance policy on road rage... dont forget that. :)

I didn't think that you'd get that off. . .especially out of the window seal

Do you have a powerwasher? You could rent one. That'd probably work best.

I agree with Vortex. 1st thing I would have done was get behind him, get his plate and immediately call the cops.
