You made it seem worse than it really was. I though you were missing ginormous chunks. haha I can see it's structurally damaged though. It's no good anymore.

    I learned the hard way

I was in Pasadena, CA yesterday and I had to make a u-turn for a street I missed. Well, being in a lowered car with a bumper 3 inches off the ground and 1 inch longer in the front than stock, caused me to underestimate my car's dimentions. As I made the U-turn my front wheels dip into the gutter and you hear kkrkrkrkkrrkrkrkrkkraaack!!!!!! I shift into reverse and kkrkrkrkkrrkrkrkrkkraaack!!!!! I check the front, and my front bumper is shot. There's the classic crack down the middle, and apparently it bent sooo far in that the frame put a hole in the corner of the bumper (I'm speculating).

Well, I'm done with body kits (for now)... well... cheap EBAY body kits. I'm telling you all, you get what you pay for.

Auto parts warehouse sells the front and rear bumper with free shipping for 200 bucks in the lower 48 states. I'm going to buy that and slap on the shyguy lip kit (if he ever emails me back).

Also, this past Friday August 10th, I'm turning into a driveway at an angle, and this driveway isn't very wide. I turn a hair too early and the bottom corner of the passenger rear of the body kit catches the curb and you hear TACK!!!!! That was the sound of my body kit "almost" snapping off. Whoopdie doo!!

I'm officially done with body kits unless my corolla becomes a race or show car only.

I have to admit, I do like my side skirts....

Ohh yeah, that CA-route 134 west and eastbound, is bumpy as heck!!!

hahaha trial and error. I learned the hard way too. So now I have a spare VIS bumper chillin' in my garage now. And now I'm back to stock with a simple lip kit. haha It's funny how we all end up going back to stock.

yeah i used to have the same exact front bumper and i hated it. it was a headache and ended up buying a plastic unpainted front/rear bumper and no sideskirt. i was lucky to find someone in one of the forums selling the front/side/rear bumpers with the exact paint i needed for very cheap!

i do have the shyguy lip kit if that mechanic still has it...i might install that but unlikely.

Dude, considering your skills with body work, you should be able to patch it up clean.

if that's a compliment, then thanks! but school starts in a week. when school is in, there's no time to do body work for those stupid little cracks. my car needs to be look decent. the body kit was beginning to look rediculous, and i don't have time to make repairs. besides, this is my daily driver car. it's another story if this were my show/track car.

I liked it with the kit on, but I did notice it was very low. Anyways, its your car, so you know best.
