    Paint and dent repair.

I need to get my whole front and rear bumper repainted along with my lip kit. I've also got some dings and chips that need fixing as well. I've been looking at the pricing for 1-day-paint, Maaco, and Earl Scheib. Are there any other ones that I'm missing? If someone can get a hook up for a paint shop close to Ventura or the Valley, that would be super. My front bumper is a mess right now... It's really bad. I wouldn't mind just getting my front bumper and lip painted only. Everything else I need painted can wait. It's really that bad.

Hey DOT. Where did you get your lip kit painted?

My gut feeling tells me that they're honest. This is the second car repair place I've seen with a website. If they have the money to make comercials for the local TV cable station, and the money for a website, then they're bound to be making tons of $$$. Plus, a shop that brags about thier customer satisfaction? and thier credentials? What kind of shop would have terrible service but brag about customer service (unless it's going through new management/ownership). On top of that, they're striving to keep a good word-of-mouth record. If you're not satisfied, they'll get on their knees to make sure you get what you want so that you're not bad-mouthing them later.

On the flip side, they're one of those shops that say, "We're not the cheapest, but we're not the most expensive!"

Now I just need some money to get things moving. My front bumper still needs to have some major bondo work done before painting.

I had my front bumper, lip, spoiler, and dent fixed at Folks Auto. They're located along Reseda blvd.

    (818) 881-7151 ask for Ed. Tell him I recommended you.

    About $600.

It also includes a new windshield. Haha, that made me decide to fix all the broken sh*t in my car. Haha.

Kinda expensive IMO, but I knew Ed and I was satisfied with their work.:)

hmmm that's not bad for all that. I think I need a new windshield too. Mine is all sandblasted to hell and has 2 huge rock chips. My whole front end needs work and painting. I'll just have to save up and go there then.
