The threshold of pain is just past 120 dBs subject to air pressure. 130 dB is mugger deterrent.

I know! DOT. has one and I fell in love with it. This will give distracted drivers a nice wakeup call. hehe Talking on the cell phone and just cut me off without signaling or looking? Just give a good 2 second blast of 139 dB pain to drop the phone. LOL

Click on products and select compact and the nautilus compact should show up. Click on the hi res sound clip. Turn your volume up all the way to see what it sounds like. hehe

I don't see how it is illegal. It if was, I don't think retailers could sell them. DOT. and I can signal each other from long distances by honking now. LOL

In Canada, retailer can sell anything not street legal. We can buy it and install it no problem, but it is just not legal to drive on the street. Maybe it is different in US.
That is good if it is legal to use in US! Just go scare the sh!t out for the stupid drivers! LOL

Well I just won't use it around any cops. haha If there were cops in the area, I wouldn't need to use it anyhow. Hopefully they can see the reckless driver and own his ass.

can you hook up a different button for this horn? and your regular one?

It's a direct replacement but you can wire it to your own button.

Super loud, rated at 139 dB at 4 feet, 115dB at 6 feet. It kind of makes me want to buy another one to complement it.
