would i need anything else if i go with these?

    also,
my friend said its a bit too stiff and might kill my dampening system. Is that tru?
If anything, whats the best springs i can go with w/o having to modify or hurt anything else. I just want a plug and play.

Use Tokico Blue (HP) shocks and H&R Sport Springs. I have that combo on my 98, and it looks and drives great. Came out to about a 1.5in. drop.

uhm, id say stick with those tein s.techs. thats whats on my car and they ride amazing. yea, you'll loose your shocks in about a month but thats gonna happen regardless if you lower your car. just go find some kyb shock/struts and get those s.techs. you wont be disappointed, trust me.

Whats the best way to go if you wanna keep your car at stock height, yet have a little stiffer suspension to keep your bodykit safe? Or maybes something adjustable like where you can rais or lower your car. Do K-Sport assemblies allow this?

yes and no. with k sportsYOU CAN maintain a stock height (maybe a 1 inch drop but no big difference). but with k sports the suspension is very stiff! saying,

is an understatement. ksports are super stiff!!!!!

haha, uhm, if you want stock height with stiff shock/struts then just keep your stock springs and get bilstein shock/struts. you can get them in different specs and they will be stiffer. if you want adjustability, then go for coilovers. there are 2 types (actually 3, but for this purpose 2) there are sleeve coilovers and full coilovers that have the sprine built in to the dampner. The sleev coilovers are cheep in price, but can offer you what you want. skunk2 sells a kit for that corolla i believe that offers betweeen a 0" (stock height) and a 4" drop. just get the sleeve coilovers and some good shock/struts. if you want stiff, the stiffest i know are bilstein, but there may be better out there. --i mean, or you could just go and spend about $2000 and get the tein edfc racing coilovers and control the dampning with the push of a button :D --

I'd recommend Ground Controls with 175f/150r lbs/in springs and a replacement strut like Tokco HP. Those spring rates are simular to Tein S tech and low enough for use with factory replacement struts. If you want them a little softer go with 150f/125r which is simular to H Tech springs.

Just make sure you don't just buy ground controls and not specify the spring rates or they'll just give you the default 300f/300r which is overkill for every strut but koni yellow. And I don't really feel like going over the concept of underdampening and corner balancing because I know nobody here would care to read it.

I agree. It's very long... Do an internet search. You'll come up with discussions and explanation from other forums. I learned my info off of a civic forum. :D

I will get flamed for this but I'm really looking to get coilovers for my 2005, I need to have an ability to lower my rolla in the summer and raise it for the winter, so its either coilovers - cheap, or air bags - major expensive
