just bought a soldering tool. who's down for a group buy? it will probably be $15 shipped since i can get a good price at radioshack.

i'm only making $1 if i sell these things.

    15HP+ speed chip

i've done the calculations and i'm getting those speed chip resistors from ebay, and daisy-chain them with a small radioshack circuit board. it if my calculations are correct it will multiply the hp.

    example

    4 chips x 15hp = 60hp!!!

    wish me luck!

i'm sure there's at least 60 unlockable horsepower.. that's why 4 daisy-chained speed chips is the most realistic

I say you modify the base chip before forming a chain. That way you can exponentially increase your power gains.

If you use a tungsten resistor, you can probably harness more power.

just putting in my knowledge here , but you can get the resisters from radio shack too , there really not good for your engine , it causes it to run lean , which is what "unlocks power" not good in the long run though.

i've taken the impedience and ohms into consideration.

Instead of using resistors, why don't you use those vacuum tubes from back in the day. It would address your issue of impedance and ohms better. I hear they unleash electrical power at a much slower rate which would help you gain more low end power and durability. It'll also still give your electrical system the power boost that it needs to produce more horsepower.

well you guys are partially correct, you would also need to use the proper diodes to prevent stray current from going to the ecu and frying it. Its also a good idea to to put several low pass filter to prevent and line noise from being sent to the ecu as signal. and if you really want more power you should create a differential operational amplifier circuit to boost the integrity of the modified signal via the resistors and it will also help with impedance matching. Good Luck

I'm totally down. I'll give you the money this Thursday. I'll try to rouse up the other members to join in on the buy.

I just talked with Jon over the specs of this thing and it's intake weld friendly. It's the torque steer you really have to worry about.

I wanna see how it does for a couple of you guys. I'm a lil hesitant to try new and untested stuff on a new engine.

ok, this whole thing is a hoax. Speed chips are bullshit and for those who believed us, the joke is on you! I don't want people to get the wrong idea and actually buy one from some fake vendor on ebay. If you want power, stick with proven bolt ons.

we really need to see how the engine does in the long run , i still think after 5000 miles and you pull your plugs , they'll be ghost white.

    just an opinion.
