What do you guys thinks about this story?

It seems starting July 1st, many states including my state - California, has passed many new laws. I just stopped by the DMV and they told me that there is about 10 new or revised laws starting this month and next year in July, even more laws will be passed such as $300 fine for talking on a cellphone with out a hands free system.

sounds good to me , just hopefully an officers discretion can depict mistake or accident , from intentional offenders.

here in FL , thgey need a law like that , people will just pull right in front of you without reguard , also redlights are an option . people on cellphones will do 30 in a 55 . and merge , is an opinion.

another thing thats phuqued up is , the other night i watched a cop , watch 2 bikes take off from a light on the back tire , nothing . then a mustang kick it sideways , and almost lose control making a left at a light , nothing . a dc 2 integra leaves the light shifts to second , the blow off valve "whooosh" chirped second , wasnt even runnin it hard , and he pulls out on the integra ,isnt that some sheot? shows how imports are being targetd.

well its going to be very hard to enforce these laws people all over are doing it.. i guess an officer has to see you do it in order to enforce it then it could be challenged in court i think they are crappy laws nitpicking

pretty sure it is.. I hear truckers cant even use their CB radios because they need to pick up the transmitter and push to talk.

But I don't hear of many truckers weaving around and causing accidents. Its mostly dumb civilians doing the unthinkable.

this is true , my dads been driving for 34 years and has never had but one accident , and that was on a curved on ramp. truckers are some of your safest drivers out there. they look for little assholes weaving around them all night and day . they also have an excellent accident avoidance skill , especially with a 40 ton truck.

not just imports, all cars. but there are so many imports out there that it just seems like you always see imports getting pulled over. The only time I haven't seen a car get pulled over is when the car is a classic like a mustang or something in mint condition and the officer also likes classic cars. then the officer will praise you instead of pulling you over. seen that a few times..
