It can't be mounted any lower. Its an exact fit. I'm going to be painting the lip white and clear coat it to match the rest of the car. Its already unique enough since no one has this lip. hehe I want the car to be a solid color, clean, and streamlined as if it were something from factory.

looks to me like it should be mounted lower by ~1/2" there is some gaps and lines that dont match up.
if lowered a bit it'll match up better with where the sideskirts are mounted...looks good that color if the rest was the same color, i feel the uniqueness you speak of

I've tried that. The plastic is rigid. I'm afraid if I strain it too much it will snap. But I painted it white and clear coated it. You can't see the gaps at all anymore. And I think in white it looks 10X better. Its a great improvement for looks for my car. I'm quite content.

At the meet we all decided that leaving it black makes the car look cheap. Having it all one color makes it look a lot more clean and sleek. It has a more subtle look now and won't attract cops with that two tone.

I used Duplicolor Enamel and Duplicolor Enamel clear coat. I got a little impatient and the paint wrinkled a little. I tried to fix it and it ended up getting worse. You can't really see it unless you're up close. I'm going to resand it smooth and repaint it with a couple thin coats. I still need to paint my rolled fenders. Its chipping like crazy there. I should have plenty of paint left so you can use it when I'm done.

I think there's a misunderstanding here. I was the one who allowed him to use it. haha I bought the lip from him in the first place and he knocked off another 10 bucks off the price.

    sorry for the confusion. haha

It won't fit. The bumpers have different curves. The mouth on the 8th gen is wider and is more like an open smile whereas the 7th gen is more like a trapezoid.

    Black or White?

I'm thinking about painting my front lip black again. Should I do it? It gives it a more aggressive look. I'm not going to consider painting the skirts or rear valences, only the front.

I say no. I think it flows better when the kit matches the car (unless it's real CF).

Yeah, I've thinking about it and you're right. I just need to relocate the fog lights and repaint the front bumper. It looks like hell.

I'd say keep it white or make it CF.
