    Some updates on my AE111

wow. it's been more than a year i think since i last posted...

been really busy setting up a new business. check it out some time - www.stoplightmag.com. it's a free online magazine about the local tuner scene here in the philippines.

anyway, here are a few things i've done to the car since i last posted...

got rid of the RS*R springs and KYB gas shocks and finally got serious suspension... TEIN Driving Master Type-HR coilovers (10kg/mm up front and 13kg/mm in the rear)

    then i first swapped the Work RSZ-R's for these first-gen 5zigen 5ZR's

but i got sick of those real quick so i got these...

i also got more serious rubber... yokohama advan neova ad07's... big improvement over the ES100's...

    and finally got her dynoed...

she did 90hp at the wheels. yep... pathetic. hahahaha! but not bad considering she's a 1300cc with 60hp at the wheels in stock form.

doing an engine swap in about two-three weeks... finally getting my 20V!!! woot!

i agree 101%!!! exactly why i've been putting off getting a new motor for so long. wanted to work on handling and braking first.

the improved looks came by accident (literally) hahahaha! got into a nasty crash and decided to make it look better rather than just repairing it and bringing it back to what it looked like before the crash.

Do you know if the AE111 taillights would fit an 8th gen(ZZE110)? The tail sizes look similar. I'm interested in the circular turn signal corner lamp.

^ rollatuner, jam's (lego) ae111 is the jdm kind, the ae111's in japan are like his own, proally you might hafta do some metal works to retrofit the jdm tail lights to your usdm ae111, i guess it also requires the same work for the healights or proally you might hafta get a jdm ae111 headlights, fenders, bumper and hood...

    jam, nice one...

a lot of body work would have to be done. our tail lights are about half an inch taller than yours and the shape is kinda different. to do a jdm/phdm E11 rear conversion on the usdm E11, you'd have to get the trunk, bumper, and rear quarter panels... aside from the lights and the plate garnish of course.
