H4 is the correct bulb size.
Bixenon means a tiny electromagnet moves the light to work for hi-and low-beams.

    Q's about HIDs

Ok I want HIDs for my 98 corolla. I did all my research here and I think I've got it down, but I wanted to be sure on some things.

    1. When a HID is considered "Bi" that means it has high and low beams built in right?

    2. I"m confused on what size I need. The last time I bought bulbs the size I picked up was H4. Do I still pick up H4s? I see some people lump h4 with 900X. Whats the correct bulb size?

I basically want something that is plug and play. Anyone got a link with a reasonable price?

    Thanks in advance

    cool thanks man.

I just thought of one more question, as long as I pick up the h4 ones, it'll be just a plug and play right no mods right?

Just to add to the above, H4 HID plug-and-play kits are the only ones available with the bi-xenon capability. H4s are also known as 9003s.

yeah I saw that group buy, I pm the guy that started the thread a week ago or less and still hasn't replied. Another thing is I'm in Hawaii, and we have yearly safety checks so I need an HID that has both high and low beams.

everytime I go to get my safety check, I have to flash lows and high beams. Go figure. My tint is basically see through and they still bring out the dam meter to check to make sure its legal.
