How to remove gum from seat fabric?

Yea, long story short: How would I be able to remove gum from my seat...?

I saw this stuff labeled "Gum Remover" at my work, but it says on non-pourous surfaces only so I can't use that. I don't really know what I should try. I'm not fond of the whole peanut better theory and I don't really want to end up with peanut butter and gum on my seat. Would ice work?

    Thanks, guys!

go buy a bottle of lighter fluid.. the butane stuff, it's in the camping section.. spray this on the gum.. it will freeze it instantly, much colder than ice..

No, actually I did mean gun. There is a gun wedged between my seat and the center console. It is in there pretty tight, and I can't get it out.

Haha, just kidding, yea, bored. Anyway, alright I'll try the ice.

And for those wondering, I was driving home from the beach with some friends, and one of them in the back seat put her gum on my shoulder. Everyone was laughing cause I had no idea it was there. I kept trying to see what they were laughing at but I couldn't figured it out. Then I took a glimpse at my shoulder and thought it was a spider or something like that so I freaked out and like brushed it off my shoulder violently, haha. I'm really scared of spiders. Anyway, I didn't see where i brushed it too, but it happens it went under my friend in the passenger seat's leg, but miraculously it didn't stick to his jeans, only my seat.

Use a can of compressed air (like the kind you would use to clean your keyboard). When you hold it upside down and spray, it will freeze stuff instantly without chemicals. Freeze the gum, then crack it with the handle of a screwdriver, then vaccum up the frozen particles. Works perfect. I also use the inverted canned air to kill bugs indoors. That way my cat doesn't get any chemicals or poison in his environment.
